Homecoming Week Events

Monday- Band practice outside after school- 3:20-4:45

Tuesday- Band practice outside after school- 3:20-4:45

The band will be participating in the homecoming bonfire on Tuesday, September 23 at Moncrief Park in Gardendale. Students will be responsible for their own transportation to this event. We will meet at the park at 6:45 p.m. to get organized. The high school portion of the bonfire will begin at 7:10 p.m. and should end around 8:00 p.m. We will wear our new maroon jerseys and khaki shorts. If you have not paid for the jersey yet, please do so asap.

Wednesday- Practice outside during class time- 1:30-3:00

Thursday- Band practice outside after school- 3:20-4:45

Friday-

Morning pep rally- Students will be able to check out after the pep rally. Students will not have to check back in for the homecoming parade. If they check out, they will not be able to ride the bus home after school. Call time for the parade is 12:30. We will wear the maroon jersey and khaki shorts for the parade. Students should meet in the band room get equipment and warm-up. We will move to line up at 12:40. The parade begins at 1:00 p.m.  It should be finished around 1:30. Call time for the game is 5:30. We will be wearing uniforms for the game. Students will wear their gray band shirt underneath their uniform. We will perform our regular halftime show before the game around 6:40 p.m. We will be playing on the field for the homecoming court during halftime.
